How much does it cost to use TapeSpace?
Our pay-per-use studios cost $25-40 per hour, perfect for occasional
users. For regular users, we offer monthly memberships starting at
$99/month which includes studio hours, 24/7 access, and priority
booking. Members also get discounts on add-on services like readers,
coaching, and editing.
What equipment is included in the studio?
Every studio booth comes fully equipped with professional DSLR/4K
cameras, three-point lighting systems, studio-quality microphones,
soundproofing, multiple backdrops, and touchscreen controls.
Everything is set up and ready to use - you just walk in and start
recording. High-speed internet is available for instant file
uploads.
How do I book a studio?
Members can book instantly through our mobile app 24/7. Simply
download the app, create an account, choose your time slot, and
you're all set. Walk-ins are also welcome during our flexible open
hours. The app also lets you upload and share your files directly
after recording.
Do I need technical experience to use the studios?
Not at all! Our studios are designed to be completely self-serve
with intuitive touchscreen controls. You can adjust lighting, camera
settings, and backdrops with just a few taps. We also provide quick
tutorial videos and our support team is available if you have any
questions. Most users are recording within minutes of their first
visit.
Can I bring someone to read with me?
Yes! You're welcome to bring a reader or scene partner at no extra
charge. If you don't have someone available, we also offer
professional reader services as an add-on. Our experienced actors
can read opposite you to help bring authenticity to your scenes.
What are the membership benefits?

How do I get my files after recording?
All recordings are instantly available through our mobile app. You
can review, download, and share your files directly from your phone
or transfer them to your device via our high-speed internet
connection. Files are stored securely in your account for 30 days,
giving you plenty of time to download and submit your auditions.
Where is TapeSpace located?
We're currently located in San Antonio, Texas. Our central location
makes us easily accessible for actors, students, and content
creators throughout the region. We're designed to be a scalable
model with plans to expand to other cities based on demand.
What add-on services do you offer?
We offer professional readers to read opposite you in scenes,
one-on-one acting coaching for audition preparation, and
professional video editing services including color correction and
audio enhancement. We also host regular networking events where you
can connect with other actors and industry professionals. All
add-ons can be booked through our app.
How long can I use the studio for one session?
You can book studios by the hour, and most auditions take 30-60
minutes to complete. If you need more time, you can extend your
session or book additional hours. Members get discounted rates for
extra studio time. There's no rush - take as many takes as you need
to get it perfect.
